The Oklahoma Coalition for Affordable Housing (OCAH) is proud to celebrate the continued success of the Oklahoma Housing Stability Program (HSP) and the many OCAH members whose work is helping expand housing opportunities across our state.
According to the newly released 2026 Annual Report from the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency (OHFA), the Oklahoma Housing Stability Program has supported the construction of 1,058 homes in 69 communities across 29 counties since the program was established in 2023. These developments represent a $170.4 million investment in Oklahoma's housing future.
The Housing Stability Program provides 0% interest construction loans that help builders and developers overcome one of the biggest barriers to creating new housing—access to affordable construction financing. As loans are repaid, the funds are reinvested into future developments, creating a sustainable model for expanding housing opportunities across Oklahoma.
Many of the organizations contributing to this success are OCAH members. Our membership includes affordable housing developers, builders, housing authorities, nonprofit organizations, lenders, architects, engineers, property managers, and other industry professionals who work every day to strengthen communities and increase access to quality housing.
These projects are creating more than homes—they are supporting economic growth, attracting workforce talent, revitalizing neighborhoods, and providing more Oklahoma families with safe, stable, and affordable places to live.
OCAH is honored to represent and advocate for the professionals and organizations making these investments possible. We appreciate the continued leadership of OHFA, state policymakers, and our industry partners whose collaboration is helping address Oklahoma's housing needs.
Congratulations to all of our members who have played a role in the success of the Oklahoma Housing Stability Program. Your dedication and expertise continue to make a meaningful difference in communities across the state.
